Maddie understands the numerous commitments of the youngsters coupled with school work - singers do not need to commit to all performances but take part according to availability and their other educational or performing arts commitments. There is no fee to belong to the group except expenses for music, tracks, photocopying and room hire where needed. The music is contemporary and engaging and members of the group are able to choose the music they want to sing and which they think audiences will enjoy.

Adult mentor musicians and teachers support the group and individuals in rehearsal and performance. Individual singing lessons can be provided by Maddie and mentors as required on an ad hoc basis. Music scores and backing tracks are provided for singers to work on in between rehearsals. Singing workshops and masterclasses are also arranged. We have just held a workshop at half term (with a small fee and open to the public) on performance preparation: we covered stage etiquette, conquering your nerves, choosing repertoire, getting to know your character and the song and enhancing your performance.

Contact Maddie through the Contact Us tab if you would like to know more, book an informal audition or book us for an event.
